CONCOR has informed in a communique that EXIM container train service from PLIL Ahmedgarh (GFPA) to Haldia Port (HDCG) has been introduced in association with CJ Darcl, and the first train was moved on 28.02.2026 carrying 31 x 40 loaded export containers of major yarn exporters like Winsome Textiles, Oasis Textiles, Vardhman Textiles, Garg Acrylic, Sporting India etc. The containers were moved through feeder vessel from Haldia Port to Chittagong, Bangladesh. This new service is not only cost-competitive but would also substantially reduce the transit time of Bangladesh-bound shipments. It is expected that this will be a regular service with two rakes per month.
