Vadhvan Port Project Ltd (VPPL) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority have cautioned in a communique that a fake news is being circulated on social media, under the name of The Times of India, falsely claiming that the Vadhvan Port project has been cancelled by the Supreme Court of India.
This claim is completely false and misleading. The Vadhvan Port project is progressing as planned, with no stay or adverse order.
The communique urged the public and stakeholders to remain vigilant against misinformation and rely only on official communications from VPPL.
